New Fortune Chinese Restaurant in Greenfield

Randomly ended up here on the way to nyc- honestly the best Chinese food I have ever had! Hot and sour soup was on point- will definitely be back if I ever pass through the area again. Yum!

New Fortune has always been my family's go-to American-style Chinese restaurant in the Greenfield area. They are a mainstay - in business for more than 30 years - and the food is absolutely spot-on every time I go. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh, the miso soup is incredible, and trust me when I say you're doing yourself a disfavor if you don't try the boneless ribs appetizer.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Greenfield. You have to do some careful mining and sifting to find the authentic dishes amongst the typical American-Chinese-Japanese-Thai melange of genetic Asian cuisine, but they are there. I highly recommend the dumplings with hot sesame sauce, for example.

My son and I went here on our way home from New Hampshire and we definitely were not disappointed. The mashed potatoes were real fresh mashed red potatoes and the food was hot and tasty. Wish the veggies weren't frozen but fresh other than that very pleased and the service was excellent.

Have been going here regularly for years. Even have a box on the shelf with our own chopsticks. They know our names and are very personable. Sushi is spectacular and plenty to choose from. I really can't say enough about the food. Plentiful, yummy and reasonably priced.

Best Chinese and sushi in the area. Staff are friendly, location is easy to get on and off interstate 91, and route 2. Try the hot and sour soup!

Their food is delicious!!! I had the sushi and sashimi for 1 and some octopus, the fish had great flavor and a great price for what you get. Will definitely come back for more.

We eat here occasionally! Very good chinese food! Not a buffet restaurant! A sit down table service restaurant! Give em a try! Ate here tonite 11-27-19, day before Thanksgiving! I just had the most delightful time at their annual lion dance. The food was divine, the dancers were incredible. We are so lucky to have them here.

Great people! Clean and reasonably priced food. It is our "go to" place for delivery ($3 fee is worth it). Eat in is great especially since it is in the same plaza as our grocery store. We can eat then shop. Very convenient.

Very unassuming from the outside but great food and friendly service. We've been going here for years and it is consistently enjoyable. The menu has a wide variety of options and there's a full bar. We like the chirashi sushi and pu pu platter.

Best general tso's chicken in the area. The chicken size portions are good sized and consist and the sauce they use is awesome.

They can’t even understand their own menu and have gotten my order wrong several times. I called to complain and their solution was to hang up. The food is ok but they aren’t to bright!

Absolutely love this place! I miss it dearly since moving away!

I've been going here for many years and it continues to impress me with its prices, good food, and friendly staff. One of my favorite Asian food restaurants in New England!

This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant, amazing food and staff. Generous portions and clean. If you are craving Chinese food in this area I highly recommend new fortune.

Their pricing has skyrocketed over the past few years and the quality of food had consistently diminished.Unfortunately they got rid of their quality sushi chef, and takeout is always cold!It is a far cry from what it once was. It's clear they have become complacent with their business.

Never got a bad meal here. Mostly take out there's other places I can go that are closer to home but it's worth the extra miles for the better quality food. We've been going here for so long they even know our names and what our autistic son's "usual" order is. They also check on how the kids are if we are taking the order to go.

The few times we have been there, has always left us with a full belly and leftovers. The food is very tasty and priced reasonably. The dining area isn't to big, but you usually won't have a problem getting a table; we noticed a lot more take out orders than dine in. When your done, you can go walk it off and go shopping at the several retailers in that same lot.

I absolutely love this restaurant, I do there all the time and the pork fried rice and orange chicken are hands down the best anywhere around. And they're very nice people as well.

Wish they were closer. NYC quality takeout Chinese. A little slow, but it's worth it. Not high quality food, but great take out quality.
